Why Projects Matters

Document review work – redlining a vendor DPA, reviewing a set of data processing agreements against PDPL requirements, comparing contract obligations across a supplier portfolio – does not fit into a single chat. It spans multiple documents, multiple rounds of review, multiple team members, and multiple weeks. When that work lives in email threads, shared drives, and ad-hoc Forseti conversations, the programme loses its audit trail, access control becomes bespoke per asset, and recovering accidentally deleted work is often impossible.

Forseti Projects solve this by giving document-intensive compliance work a structured home inside the platform. A project carries documents, conversations, workflow runs, and reviews under one container. The AI-suggested redlines on an uploaded contract DPA, the tabular review comparing N vendor agreements on M clauses, the follow-up conversations with the legal team, all of it lives in one place, accessible to the right people, organised in a folder tree that reflects how the work is actually structured.

The document review connection is intentional. Projects are the surface where uploaded documents enter Forseti's review workflow. When you add a contract or policy memo to a project, the document becomes available for the redline review flow, the tabular extraction grid, and grounded chat conversations – without duplicating the file or breaking the attachment's existing audit linkages. Removing a document from a project removes access; it does not delete the underlying attachment from the platform record it belongs to.

Access control is enforced at the project level, not the document level. Members join by user or by organisation group. The two modes are mutually exclusive per access entry so each membership row is unambiguous. Projects support the quarterly rhythms, the annual programmes, and the multi-team reviews that routine compliance operations demand.

Projects Features

Projects

Workspaces for documents, conversations, workflow runs, and reviews

Create a project to organise long-running compliance work. Add documents for review, start conversations grounded in those documents, run workflows scoped to the project, and track all of it under one named workspace with a folder tree. Use the "My Projects" tab for programmes you own and "Shared with me" for programmes your team has brought you into.

  • Folder tree keeps multi-document programmes navigable
  • Conversations and workflow runs inside the project flow through audit lineage

Frequently Asked Questions About Forseti Projects

Projects are the workspace surface where documents enter Forseti's review workflow. When you add an uploaded contract, DPA, or policy memo to a project, it becomes available for AI-suggested redline review, tabular extraction grids, and grounded chat conversations, all from within the project. The document review capability lives under the Project container rather than as a standalone queue.

Yes. Project members are added by user or by organisation group. Both options are available per project. The two access modes are mutually exclusive per membership entry, each row is unambiguous, so group and individual access do not conflict.

Removing a document from a project removes project-member access to it through that project's surface. It does not delete the underlying attachment from the platform record it belongs to. The document's audit history remains intact.

Yes. Every chat message, tool call, workflow run, draft, and approved change inside a project flows through the same immutable audit trail as any other Forseti activity. Project membership changes (adding or removing a member) are also logged with operator and timestamp.

‘Projects’ is available on the Standard and Enterprise tiers. The Light tier provides access to the core Forseti chat surfaces. Organisations on the Light tier that need Projects can upgrade their tier through the platform's standard upgrade path.
