Data is collected and stored on infrastructure you own or govern (via AesirX First-Party Server or your own backend). There is no hidden “phone home” to a central SaaS, no resale or enrichment of your visitor data.
Consent-friendly “own path” measurement
The stack is built to fit the controller’s own aggregated audience measurement lane (Digital Omnibus / Article 88a) and to respect ePrivacy Directive 5(3). That means core analytics can run in a consent-friendly way when implemented as a strict first-party “own path”, while third-party tracking stays gated behind consent.
No third-party cookies or cross-site IDs by default
AesirX Analytics does not rely on third-party cookies, fingerprinting, or cross-site identifiers. This reduces the risk of unlawful tracking and profiling.
Tight integration with AesirX CMP
When used together with AesirX CMP, you can enforce purpose-based consent for any non-essential or third-party tracking, while keeping first-party measurement clearly separated and documented.
That said, no vendor can “certify” you as compliant. Your organisation remains responsible for configuring AesirX Analytics correctly (e.g. data retention, purposes, third-party tags) and for ensuring your overall data processing complies with GDPR, ePrivacy Directive and local laws. CMS & website integrations
You can add the AesirX Analytics JS Collector directly into your templates on platforms like WordPress, WooCommerce, Joomla and other CMSs, or into any custom-built site. The script points to your own first-party endpoint (AesirX First-Party Server or your own backend), so data never “phone-homes” to a third-party SaaS.
E-commerce platforms
AesirX Analytics can be embedded in e-commerce stores (e.g. WooCommerce and other major platforms) to track UX flows, conversions and value - still under a first-party architecture that aligns with GDPR, ePrivacy Directive 5(3) and the Digital Omnibus “own path”.
Apps, SPAs, PWAs and dapps
The JS Collector can also be integrated into single-page apps, progressive web apps and web frontends for dapps, so you get consistent first-party measurement across your digital properties, not just classic websites.
What about Google Tag Manager?
While it is technically possible to load the collector via GTM or other tag managers, we generally do not recommend this for compliance and privacy reasons. Tag managers often reintroduce third-party dependencies and make it harder to prove a clean first-party “own path”. Our preferred pattern is a direct integration (or via your CMP) so you can clearly document that analytics is first-party, controller-only and fully under your governance.
In most cases, integration is as simple as adding a short script in your theme/template and pointing it at your first-party endpoint - no re-platforming and no need to rewire your entire stack.
