2. 100MB of Storage
Get 100MB of digital asset storage to help you manage your media collection more easily, as well as 100MB of image CDN (content delivery network) traffic for real-time picture optimization and transformation. For example, the asset is stored in Asia, it is replicated to servers in Europe, America, etc, so it’s quickly accessible anywhere in the world.
3. File Types
Any five file types are supported, for example, you might use the following:

4. 5 Filters/ Tags
Enrich your assets with five filters and have the ability to add tags to assets so they can easily be filtered using those tags. For example, a photo of a beach can be tagged with blue, sea, sand, shore, etc.
5. 5 Content Meta Types
Metadata is a piece of information connected with a digital asset. To keep your DAM structured and consistent, use five filter types of technical data to enrich and manage files better. For example, it might be the date the file was generated, the file type, a category, or a keyword appended to the digital file.
6. Web3/IPFS Decentralized Storage (Q4 2022)
IPFS (The InterPlanetary File System) is a decentralized storage and sharing protocol designed to make AesirX DAM faster, safer, and more open. Every piece of data is cryptographically hashed, resulting in a safe, unique content identifier. Users get complete ownership and sensitive information is encrypted.

How Open Source AesirX DAM works for Developers
How it works
Step 1: Download the Open Source PWA package which you can self deploy and host.
Step 2: Set up the configuration in the NPM installer and Customize as you wish.
Step 3: Ensure that you have an active account on dam.aesirx.io with the domain name registered and the configuration correctly filled out, and then we will automate the entire delivery through our DAMaaS.
Prerequisites to install AesirX DAM
NPM
- Just 2 prerequisites are needed to install with NPM. Before installing AesirX DAM, you only need to install GIT and download and install the node framework.
- Install GIT. Download at https://git-scm.com/downloads
- Download and install the node framework. Click on the URL https://nodejs.org/en/download/ and select a platform.
Shared Host
- Make sure the git and node versions have been installed on your local.
- Install GIT. Download at https://git-scm.com/downloads
- Download and install the node framework. Click on the URL https://nodejs.org/en/download/ and select a platform.
- Install Nginx/Apache on the server.
